ABOUT PROJECT
With a renewed vision for the parish, St. Ignatius of Loyola (STIG) was looking build a new website and solidify their visual identity to better accomplish their mission.
The original logo design was created internally by Stephen Corsi, a member of the parish's Senior Leadership Team. Over the course of 2017, I helped him refine the logo as a volunteer. The current version was created when I was hired to build the website.
The logomark – depicting the church's physical silhouette – was already strong. It was simple and recognizable. The current mark preserves the established symbol while refining it for versatility and scalability. The main brand colour and type were also changed in order to be warmer and more inviting; to better reflect the branding.
St. Ignatius of Loyola wanted a simple, inviting, and functional website that better represents their mission than what they had at the time. When I was brought into the project in 2018, some preliminary work was already done internally.
